Auditor General Hassan Ziyath has met with his Chinese counterpart, Liu Jiayi.
The Auditor General’s Office said in a statement that during the meeting, Hassan Ziyath requested expert assistance from the National Audit Office of China in human resources training and strengthening audit processes.
Liu Jiayi said he was prepared to provide assistance as required by Maldives.
They agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in this regard in 2016, the Audit Office said.
