Vice President, Ahmed Adheeb Abdul Gafoor has said that the Maldives and China will always trust and respect one another. Speaking at the ceremony held at Olympus theatre to celebrate 43 years of diplomatic relations between China and the Maldives, Vice President Adheeb said that the relationship between China and the Maldives will continue to be strengthened. And he said that China is a country that helped with the development of the Maldives. “China is one of the closest countries of Maldives and one of the countries that helped the Maldives to develop.” Adheeb said. He said that the relations between the two countries would be stronger through the items such as those presented by the Chinese performers last night. Vice President Adheeb said that the Chinese Ambassador to Maldives Mr. Wang Fukang is working closely with the Maldivian Government.
