Vice President Ahmed Adheeb Abdul Ghafoor has departed on an official visit to China on Tuesday.
The Vice President’s visit is being made to attend a conference on Maritime Silk Road، and the inauguration ceremony of the 2nd Maldives Investment Forum.
During his visit to China the Vice President will be accompanied by Minister at the President’s Office، Mohamed Hussain Shareef.
Prior to his departure، VP told media that Maldives and China hold a very close relationship، and that discussions will be held with Chinese government regarding the mass projects to be held in the Maldives.
He highlighted the projects of Ibrahim Nasir International Airport development and the Male’-Hulhule’ Bridge project.
