Former President and acting President of MDP Mohamed Nasheed praised all members who did not vote for Muhtaz Muhsin in the vote asked in the Parliament on Monday to appoint for the post of PG. 
“Courageous and strong while in the minority during PG voting، I praise all members who pressed red for the unqualified”، said President Nasheed in a Tweet from his official Twitter account، on Tuesday.
Muhtaz Muhsin was appointed as PG from the votes by PPM and MDP. Muhtaz received 62 votes for him، 12 votes against him and 7 who did not vote for any side.
While President Nasheed praised members voted against Muhtaz، PPM Deputy Leader and Toursim Minister Ahmed Adeeb thanked those who voted for Muhtaz.
