Minister of Foreign Affairs, Iruthisham Adam has departed on an official visit to China to attend the 7th China-South Asia Cooperation Forum to be held in Kunming, Yunnan Province. The visit will take place from 10 to June 2026.
During the visit, Minister Iruthisham is scheduled to attend the Opening Ceremony of the 7th China-South Asia Forum to deliver a keynote address, and the 10th China-South Asia Expo. Minister Iruthisham will also meet senior officials of the government of Yunnan Province and meet Maldivian students studying in Yunnan.
Foreign Minister Iruthisham is accompanied by Additional Secretary, Amin Javed Faizal and Director, Maryam Bassama Farooq at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
