Reeko Moosa criticizes Prez. Nasheed at his presence

Vice Speaker and Hulhuhenveyru Constituency Member of the Parliament، Moosa Manik (Reeko Moosa) have criticized Former President Mohamed Nasheed at his presence for his ‘clutch to MDP leadership’ even after the failure he faced during 2013 Presidential Elections.
Speaking during special gathering of Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) at Alimas Carnival on Saturday night، Reeko Moosa said he hoped for a young leadership in MDP as he resigned from the post of MDP Chairperson after the failure the party faced in 2013 Presidential Election and 2014 Parliament Election.
“After considering the difficulties the party was facing، we discussed we would let a younger leadership to take over the party and we will stay behind to guide them.” Former chairperson of MDP said.
Without mentioning Prez. Nasheed’s name، Moosa indirectly criticized saying، “I hoped that after the utter failure، ‘some’ leaders of the Party would step aside and resign from their posts.”
Currently Prez. Nasheed is the only person in MDP leadership after the failure MDP faced after 2013 Presidential Election and 2014 Parliament Election.
Reeko Mossa further said that as a young leadership is acting، MDP should work together and find solutions for the problems they are facing now.
