The health sector in Maldives will once again be raised، and the services provided in the sector will be of the same level in the neighbouring countries، said acting Health Minister، Minister of Defense Colonel (Retired) Mohamed Nazim on Tuesday. 
Inaugurating the special function to open the STO Pharmacy in M. Kolhufushi، Minister Nazim said that Health Sector was carelessly handled in Maldives before. However، now all the steps taken in the sector is under the direction of President Yameen.
He further said during the ‘erecting’ of the Health Sector، the services provided will be of the same level as the health services provided in the neighbouring countries.

“Under the direction of the President، I was given the task to raise the Health Sector in Maldives and within a short period، start providing health services as same as in the neighbouring countries.” Minister Nazim said.
He said the Government is trying to fulfill it’s promises to the people and this Government will grant the promises it makes to the people.
