President inaugurates construction of new Muli Regional Hospital building

Bolstering healthcare services in the Mulaku Atoll, President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has inaugurated the construction of a new building for the Muli Regional Hospital. The launch event was held today on Muli Island.
The President has pledged to advance the construction of the new Muli Regional Hospital building.
This new construction project aims to expand and modernise the existing facilities, thereby enhancing the overall quality of healthcare available to residents. The new hospital building will be a modern four-story structure designed to accommodate the growing healthcare demands of the population. With advanced medical technology and spacious facilities, the new structure is expected to upgrade the existing healthcare services. The contract for the construction has been awarded to the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).
The new Muli Regional Hospital building is scheduled to be completed in 780 days and is projected to be finished by mid-2027. Once completed, it is poised to significantly improve healthcare accessibility for residents of Mulaku Atoll.
The inauguration of the new Muli Regional Hospital building project marks a progressive step towards modernising healthcare in the Maldives. It aligns with the Government's broader objectives of improving the quality of life for all citizens.
