Former President His Excellency Mohamed Nasheed says he will contribute to the Gaza fund، organized by Adhaalath Party to help Palestinians suffering due to the merciless attacks by Israel. 
While in a visit to the fund box near Maldives Monetary Authority، former President said this to the Adhaalath Party officials of Gaza fund. He says he will contact them “somehow” (to help). The video of his visit near the fund box has now spread in social media.
Former president Nasheed says to help Gaza Fund after he criticized Adhaalath Party at the time when they announced about opening a fund box for Gaza. He said in a Tweet that it is not wise to open a new fund when the details of Mosque Fund organized by Adhaalath Party.
Gaza Fund received Rf. 1،012،408.70 and USD 3009 (Rf. 46،398) until Monday night.
The victims in Gaza will receive the contributions from the fund through the Red Cross in Qatar. Food and medicines are to be sent to Gaza as the aid.
This fund is opened for a month.
Israel’s attacks have martyred over 500 Palestinians، injuring over 3500 people. Israel lost 27 army-men and one local Israeli was killed in the cross fire.
