Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has opened opportunities for interested parties to operate cargo offices at the newly built cargo terminal at Velana International Airport (VIA).
According to MACL, the opportunity is available to cargo airlines, cargo sales agents, cargo brokers, and registered courier agents. Applicants must hold valid authorization under at least one of the following categories: cargo airline registration with the Maldives Civil Aviation Authority (MCAA), cargo sales agent registration with MCAA, or cargo broker or courier agent registration with Maldives Customs Service.
Interested parties must express their interest via MACL’s tender portal by 11:30 AM on May 4th, with the deadline for bid submission set for 11:30 AM on May 8th.
MACL noted that successful bidders must establish and operate their cargo offices according to the company's rules and regulations. The bid will be awarded based on a comprehensive technical and financial evaluation to determine the most beneficial proposal for the company.
