President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has said the government will continue to strengthen state institutions that provide public services.
He made the remarks in a social media post on the occasion of United Nations Public Service Day.
In a message shared on his official X account, the President commended public servants for their tireless efforts in serving communities, advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and promoting the wellbeing of society.
The President reaffirmed the government's commitment to strengthening public institutions and supporting public servants who carry out their duties with integrity, professionalism, and excellence.
He also expressed his appreciation to public servants and public institutions across the Maldives for their steadfast dedication and continued service to the nation and its people.
United Nations Public Service Day is celebrated on June 23 every year to recognise and appreciate public servants for their contribution to national development, and to encourage young people to join government service.
