Minister of Foreign Affairs Dunya Maumoon has met with Minister of External Affairs of India, Sushma Swaraj, today.
At the meeting held in New Delhi, Minister Dunya highlighted the close historical ties between the two countries based on shared values and mutual respect.
Minister Dunya also expressed appreciation for the continued assistance and cooperation from India for the socio economic development of the Maldives.
Both Ministers also discussed ways of further strengthening the close relations between the two countries.
