New Radiant Sports Club defender Rilwan Waheed (Riley) has been suspended for 2 matches along with a fine of MVR 4000.
In a statement released by Football Association of Maldives today، it said Rilwan had been inspected on the turn of events at Ooredoo Premier League game against Victory Sports Club back in April 15th، following which he was suspended by the FAM Disciplinary Committee.
FAM stated that Rilwan Waheed was suspended under disciplinary code number 37، for bodily harm during a match. Rilwan must settle the fine before the suspension period expires to FAM.
The New Radiant defender has had previous disciplinary counts on field as well، and Rilwan is the second New Radiant player to get suspended during the season، another defender of the team، Mohamed Rasheed has been suspended for a total of 6 games with a fine of MVR 15،000.
