MP for Dhiggaru constituency Faarish Maumoon have said that, damaging PPM office and equipment in PPM office will not destroy his morale.
Faarish said that, while a group of people from President Yameen’s faction entered PPM’s office, and took away everything inside the office, there will be things in the office that were taken for rent from other people. He said that, those people from President Yameen’s faction took everything away in lorries without taking any of these things into consideration.
Faarish said that even with the events of the night, President Maumoon is also confident as ever. Maumoon faction of PPM even went to police to report the matter. Police informed them that, they helped to implement a court order.
Faarish said that, those who entered the office, entered after breaking the lock of the office. He said that they have not identified who they are.
President Maumoon’s daughter, Yumna Maumoon said that the office building was not given to PPM by the owners of the building. The owners have filed a case to police saying that the agreement made with PPM has expired.
