Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed who is in Saudi Arabia to complete Hajj، has met with the Minister of Hajj of Saudi Arabia Dr. Bandar bin Mohammed bin Hamza Asaad Al-Hajjar.
Islamic Minister informed the meeting took place at a Reception hosted by Ministry of Hajj of Saudi Arabia at Jiddah Hilton Hotel for the Hajj Missions of other countries.
During the meeting، Islamic Minister Dr. Shaheem expressed his gratitude to Dr. Bandar for the cooperation extended by Saudi for the Hajj arrangements. He thanked the Government and Security Authorities of Saudi for the arrangements this year.
Minister of Hajj of Saudi thanked the Maldivian Hajj missions and advised to prepare for the arrangements for the Hajj next year. He highlighted the use of latest technologies to provide the arrangements for the pilgrims as a focus of Hajj Ministry of Saudi.
Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Shaheem was accompanied by Maldivian Consul Sheikh Abdul Azeez Hanafee in the meeting.
Minister Shaheem has met with General Directorate of Muslim World League (Raabithathul Aalamil Islaami) this week. During the meeting، General Directorate assured to assist in the future to improve the Islamic Affairs in Maldives. He also thanked President Yameen for keeping close relations with the Islamic World، and informed of his visit to Maldives soon.
