Syrian Foreign Minister claims US-led airstrikes have failed to deter ISIL

Syrian Foreign Minister claims US-led airstrikes have failed to put a hold on the terrorist group، ISIL active in the country and enough pressure on group will be induced if Turkey is forced with strict border control.
The US-led airstrikes kicked off back in September in an effort to destroy the terrorist groups’ wide spread invasion on large portions of the country as well as neighboring Iraq.
“All the indications say that (Islamic State) today، after two months of coalition air strikes، is not weaker،” Walid al-Moualem، Syria’s Foreign Minister stated.
Syrian government has expressed their wish to join hands with the US armed forces to battle against ISIL group، but The States refuses to take Syria as their ally as they do not wish to deal with the country’s President Bashar al-Assad، whom they claim have lost credibility and must leave the reign.
“If the Security Council and Washington do not force Turkey to control its borders then all of this action will not eliminate [ISIL]،”Moualem stated in reference to the foreign troops who crossed into their border in order to fight against ISIL.
