Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed has sad that the year 2014 is the year the largest number of Quran projects were ever conducted.
Dr. Shaheem made this remark at the ceremony held to celebrate Dhiraagu donating MVR 335385.
He said that resources not found even in colleges have been established in the center for Quran. Ge said that the Quranic studies through video conferences is amongst the achievements achieved.
Dr Shaheem, said that the video conference teaching is established in Fuvahmulah alone currently. He said that this will be established in additional four atolls.
The minister also noted that ten Quran memorizers also were awarded with a certificate last year.
