Luxury resort Grand Park Kodhipparu, will reopen for guests on August 1.
In a press release, the high-end property assured that the health and safety of all guests will be ensured through enhanced cleaning and disinfecting protocols, in addition to training of all staff in hygiene best practices.
"These include temperature checks for team members, who will be required to wear masks, physical distancing performed at all times throughout the property with daily protective measures adhered to regarding food handling", said the resort in relation its sanitisation and disinfection procedures.

In mid-2019, World Luxury Spa and Restaurant Awards conferred three distinctions to the resort, including, ‘Luxury Spa Retreat’, ‘Luxury Destination Spa’ and ‘Luxury Eco Spa’, in the category solely dedicated to the Asian continent.
The Singaporean Park Hotel Group's luxury 'Grand Park' brand currently features a total of seven properties in Singapore, Maldives, Japan and China.
Ministry of Tourism previously revealed that 42 resorts are prepared to begin operations this month, following the reopening of Maldivian borders on July 15.
According to a tentative list released by the Ministry, a total of 30 resorts will begin operations on the date itself, while an additional four resorts are prepared to open shop after the 20th, including Soneva Jani, Hard Rock Hotel, Saii Lagoon, One and Only Reethi Rah, Noku Maldives and Cocoon Maldives.
