President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has expressed hope that the Maldives Police Service will nurture industrious and capable youth for nation-building. He made the statement in a post on X, issued to mark the anniversary of the institution.
In his post, the President stated that the day commemorated the service of the blues in service of the nation. He had sincerely thanked all those who had diligently served in the Service from the day of inception, extending his thanks and best wishes to their families as well. He also reminded officers of their role in ensuring that the Maldives remains a peaceful and safe place for both Maldivians and foreigners alike.
