During a press conference، held at the time of report، Sheikh Imran Abdullah answers، a question from a reporter، stating his political party or him، are not attached to accepting or giving bribe، and affirmed he had not sold his principles over for money.
Imran gave the strong rebut at the press conference، held at Salt Cafe’، in the presence of MDP، JP and the newly joined ally، AP.
Sheikh Imran had also answered VMedia’s Director of Political and Current Affairs Mohamed Ikram accusations over Adaalath Party’s alleged deal signed with Jumhooree Party for a worth of MVR 18 million to form the coalition in 2013 Presidency elections، asserting “Ikram is lying”.
Imran had admitted Jumhooree Party leader Qasim Ibrahim had financed Adaalath Party during the 2013 Presidency elections for campaigning.
Furthermore، Imran had accused PPM of attempting to hand bribe during presidency elections، and after PPM-coalition came to power، asserting he had declined the financial aid offer twice.
