Former President Nasheed has denied rumors of infighting inside MDP between himself and Hulhuhenveyru MP Moosa (Reiko) Manik، saying that there are no problems in their relationship.
Speaking to the press prior to departing for UN’s Asia Pacific Business Forum in Sri Lanka، Nasheed said that he frequently speaks to Reiko Moosa.
He added that he had not heard of a difference in opinion between the two troubling the MDP’s members.
“That is not how I’ve heard it. I had a long conversation with Moosa today، even yesterday. In fact، we shared a meal together yesterday.”
Meanwhile، recently made headlines for criticizing Nasheed، albeit indirectly، even going as far as boycotting today’s MDP committee meeting.
