National seed should be planted in the heart of every citizen- Home Minister

Home Minister Umar Naseer has said that the seed of nationalism should be planted in the heart of every citizen.
He made this remark speaking at the Victory Day celebration held at Kolhumadulu last night. He said that a nation will never prosper without it.
Umar Naseer said that the traitors and the terrorists of the November 3, 1988 attack were not successful in their terrorist attack because every Maldivian citizen that faced them had the seed of nationalism planted in their heart.
He said that now the enemies will not only attack using weapons but rather now the attacks will be an ideological attack.
Umar Naseer said that the secret behind the support of foreign organizations on the claims of establishing democracy is to give freedom of apostasy in the Maldives.
Maldives victory day is of supreme importance, as it is on this day that a terrorist group from Sri Lanka attacked the Maldives government. They attempted to overthrow the Maldivian Government, but did not succeed.
The incident took place long back on the 3rd of November in the year 1988. Since then, 3rd November each year is celebrated as the victory day festival of Maldives.
