President of Maldives Yameen Abdul Gayoom and the active gangs within Maldives have affiliations، says Home Minister Umar Naseer on Wednesday. 
Home Minister says in a reply to the question by a member of Parliament.
Gan MP Fayyaz Ismail inquires minister that before minister alleged president to have affiliations with gangs and if that has any proof،
“My question is، Minister have spoken on many forums about President Yameen’s invovlement with a lot of gangs. I just want to know how true this is”. Fayyaz questions Minister Umar.
“Answer to that question، I would have to say، President Yameen has no affiliation with any gangs”، answering to the parliament member’s question، Home Minister says.
Even though Minister Umar has said President Yameen affiliating with gangs، during the PPM Primaries last year. He also alleged President Yameen met with Ungoofaaru MP (Martyr) Dr. Afraasheem Ali’s murder case suspect.
However، in Presidential Elections، President Yameen said all those are fabrications.
