International Aid Campaign Maldives provides hot meals to Pakistan

International Aid Campaign Maldives (IACM) has started relief efforts to provide warm food for people displaced in the Pakistan floods.
IAMC has donated over 5800 hot meal packages for Pakistan, where one-third of the country is underwater due to devastating flooding.
Officials estimate that more than 33 million people – including approximately 16 million children – have been affected by the worst flooding in Pakistan’s history, which was triggered by monsoon showers but exacerbated by extreme weather changes.
Over 1300 people have died as a result of the floods, by drowning, malnutrition or water-borne diseases.
With IAMC, Maldivians can donate MVR 35/- for a hot meal pack for Pakistan. People that donate over 100 meal packs can write a special message for the people of Pakistan.

The donation includes a 12.5% fee for project management, administration and sustainability, IAMC stated.
