Former Minister of Defence and National Security، Colonel (Retired) Mohamed Nazim has stated Maldivians today are without any safety or protection.
The former Minister of Defence noted the lack of security within the country while speaking at a press conference held at DhiTV on Tuesday afternoon. He said it is not acceptable that authorities to enter the private residence of a Minister at the middle of the night to conduct a search.
Former Minister Nazim further stated the President was unaware of the Police raid conducted on Sunday early morning.
Colonel (Retired) Mohamed Nazim was removed as the Minister of Defence and National Security on Tuesday. Following his removal، President Yameen has appointed Major General (Retired) Moosa Ali Jaleel as the new Minister of Defence.
