Former member of the Thimarafushi constituency, Ahmed Shareef Adam has said that the opposition Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) will no win the Presidential Election in the year 2018 even if the former President Mohamed Nasheed is appointed as ther Presidential candidate.
Speaking to Miadhu Daily, Shareef said that the year 2013 was the most unsuccessful year for MDP. He said that the problem is that every single thing is done under the guidance of a “spiritual leader”
He said that the former President Nasheed always gives preference to the pleas of the people but only to his political agendas.
In addition to this Shareef said that the former Chairperson, Reeko Moosa Manik’s decision to compete with Nasheed in the MDP presidential primary in the year 2018.
