President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has sent Republic Day greetings to President Pranab Mukherjee، and Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India.
In separate messages sent to the President and Prime Minister، President Yameen extended warm greetings and sincere good wishes on behalf of the Government and the people of Maldives، to the people and the Government of India.
He also expressed his confidence for further progress of the existing close relations of ‎friendship، understanding and co-operation that exist between the Maldives and India.
In addition، President Yameen extended his good wishes for continued prosperity and welfare of the people of India.
