President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih attended the closing ceremony of the Maldives Open 2023, 10-Ball Championship. 
The ceremony was held at the National Billiard Centre last night. The President watched the championship’s final game at the closing ceremony and awarded trophies to the winner and runner-up, respectively.
64 players from 15 different countries took part in the Maldives Open 2023, 10-Ball Championship, which is the first International Billiard tournament hosted in the Maldives. This event was held at the Maldives Pool Billiard Association (MPBA) house from April 24-26, 2023. 
In order to prepare local athletes to compete internationally, the Administration promised to conduct International sporting events in the Maldives. The second such international athletic competition of the year is the Maldives Open 2023, 10-Ball Championship.
