Killing and terrorizing innocent children in the name of ‘Jihad’ is extremely cruel and brutal behavior، said Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed.
Minister Shaheem made his statement in a tweet he published in regards with the heinous act of terrorism by the militants of Pakistani Taliban on the army-run school in Peshawar، Pakistan، killing 141 people، including 131 children.
He has strongly condemned the act of terrorism by Taliban militants.

Reports say that it has been confirmed that over 130 children has been killed in the Taliban-lead assault in Peshawar school on Tuesday.
The attack started on Tuesday morning when the attackers opened fire inside the school، with no intention of holding anyone hostage. It appeared that the militants scaled walls to get into the school and set off a bomb at the start of the assault.
The attack has been confirmed over with the seven attackers killed، say the officials.
A huge number of survivors are being treated at the hospital، while concerned parents are frantically searching for any news of their children.
The attack on the Peshawar school is reportedly the deadliest attack by the militants of Pakistani Taliban in the recent years. The attack has been widely condemned.
