Training programme for skill development of Lawyers in Prosecutor General Office، is in progress.
The programme is held at Nasandhura Palace hotel hosted by Commonwealth under the slogan “Commonwealth Advocacy Programme” which was inaugrated by Minister of Law and Gender Mohamed Anil.
While addressing the attendees at the ceremony، Minister Anil urged the lawyers to flourish oral skills while speaking at court and also to maintain adequate language mannerisms at all times while advocating.
“Advocating is not only improving oral skills. It is also the development of various skills related to advocacy. For instance the advocatee must make sound and just statements while advocating” Minister Anil stated.
Training would be conducted by four separate experts of the field working in Commonwealth Rule of Law Division، and all four members have a lengthy record of advocating experience in UK as well as on behalf of Commonwealth.
Prosecutor General Muhuthaz Muhsin and Attorney General Ahmed Anil attended the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Advocacy programme.
The programme is consists attendents from Prosecutor General Office and Attorney General Office.
