Renowned Businessman Mohamed Moosa (Uchchu) has donated MVR 1,171,558 to the International Preschool being built in Ha. Hoarafushi.
Construction of Hoarafushi International Preschool began on May 11, 2022. The construction of the preschool started with the assistance received from The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
The MVR 1,171,558 donated by Uchchu for the construction of the preschool was handed over to Hoarafushi Council on his behalf by his daughter Sarah Mohamed Moosa. Hoarafushi MP Ahmed Saleem (Salle) and Council President Mohamed Waheed received the aid.
The pre-school, which will be built with three classrooms, is scheduled to start teaching from the next academic year. The name given to the preschool is ‘Cambridge International School’.
