Minister of Economic Development Mohamed Saeed has said that the survey team for the Male’-Hulhule’-Hulhumale’ bridge project will be arriving to Maldives from China on next Friday.
Speaking to Miadhu Daily, the Minister said that the members of this team are technical experts from all fields.
Mohamed Saeed said that the number of days that the team will be spending on the survey is not known.
Meanwhile, Xinhua reported that Chinese government will favorably consider helping finance the bridge project,Chinese President Xi Jinping said during last month's visit to the country.
According to Xinhua, the survey will determine the pier points for the proposed bridge which will link thecapital island Male with the airport island of Hulhule.
