President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has extended warm felicitations to His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei, on the occasion of the country’s National Day.
In a message sent on behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives, President Dr Muizzu conveyed sincere greetings to the Sultan, the Government and the brotherly people of Brunei, marking the auspicious national occasion.
In the statememt, the President underscored the Maldives’ appreciation for the enduring ties between the two nations, describing the relationship as one rooted in mutual respect and shared values. He expressed confidence that the longstanding cordial relations between Malé and Bandar Seri Begawan would continue to flourish in the years ahead.
President Dr Muizzu also conveyed his eagerness to work closely with the Government of Brunei to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest, for the benefit of both countries and their peoples.
The President concluded his message by extending his personal best wishes for His Majesty’s good health and well-being, and for the continued progress and prosperity of the people of Brunei.
