His Excellency President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has extended sincere felicitations and warm wishes on behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives to His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Negara Brunei Darussalam, the Government and the brotherly people of Brunei on the auspicious occasion of the National Day of Brunei.
In his letter, President Dr Muizzu, highlighted that the Maldives values the enduring brotherly ties with Brunei, rooted in mutual respect and shared values. He expressed confidence that the long-standing cordial relations between the two nations will continue to flourish.
The President further noted eagerness to work closely with the Government of Brunei to enhance bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest, for the benefit of the people of both countries.
President Dr Muizzu also extended his personal best wishes for His Majesty's good health and well-being, as well as for the continued progress and prosperity of the brotherly people of Brunei.
