The Dhiddhoo Island Council has announced that an island-wide cleaning event will commence tomorrow in HA. Dhiddhoo.
According to the Dhiddhoo Council, this is a collaborative initiative involving the council, all island institutions, and the local community.
The event is scheduled to begin tomorrow morning at 6:00 AM.
The activity will kick off with a ceremony held in front of the Dhiddhoo Council office.
The Dhiddhoo Council has extended an invitation to all residents of Dhiddhoo, as well as other individuals living on the island, to participate in this event.
As this cleaning event begins tomorrow, it is worth noting that Dhiddhoo is currently undergoing significant developmental work. Specifically, a project to reclaim land for the development of an airport and for housing needs commenced on January 5, 2025.
