The arrests follow a major anti-drug operation launched in November last year. Police said Sunday’s arrests took place that morning, as part of ongoing efforts in Gaafu Alif Atoll.
Authorities confirmed that the operation includes searches of premises linked to suspected traffickers and other law enforcement measures. Investigations into the suspects are ongoing.
