President Yameen Abdul Gayyoom have said that، other countries should respect our sovereignty because we respect sovereignty of other counties as well.
He said that while addressing to the nation on the occasion of Maldivian Independence Day. President also responded to those who criticize about implementing death penalty in the Maldives. He said that interfering in our internal affair would have negative effects.
