President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has sent a message of ‎condolence to Prime Minister of Singapore, His Excellency Lee Hsien ‎Loong, following the passing away of His Excellency Lee Kuan Yew, ‎Former Prime Minister of Singapore.‎
The President’s message reads as follows:‎
‎“It was with profound sadness that I received the news of the passing ‎away of your beloved father, Former Prime Minister His Excellency Lee ‎Kuan Yew.”‎
‎“As a true visionary, His Excellency was undoubtedly the architect of ‎Singapore’s prosperity and contemporary development. He was indeed ‎one of the most extraordinary statesmen of our time, and his legacy will ‎forever live on.”‎
