MNU rejected land and fund- Housing Minister

Housing Minister, Dr. Mohamed Muizz has said that the Maldives National University rejected the land and fund given to build a five storey building.
Dr. Muizz said that the ministry allocated a land from Hulhumale’ and a big land from the second phase of Hulhumale’ to the university. He said that a campus and a land will be allocated in Gulhufalhu.
He said that the issue of the lack of space will be resolved if all sides work together.
When asked from where the land for the university was allocated, Dr. Muizz said that the details of the lands will be revealed later.
The Minister said that old Jamaludeen School building is too old to be used and the building will not be used for any government institution without rebuilding it .
