A Maldivian on board "Trina Oldendorff", owned by German Oldendorff Carriers, has passed away.
An official of Asia Management Pvt Ltd, the Maldivian agent for Oldendorff Carriers, reported to Vnews that the deceased was Arif Mohamed (42 years) of Sosunge, Fuvahmulah.
The company reported that Arif died of natural causes, while on sick leave, which he had taken three days prior. He was in his cabin.
Asia Management stated that Arif passed away en route to China from Brazil. The company is in discussions with the Chinese Embassy in Maldives to bring the deceased to Male'.
