Ha. Hoarafushi ‘Cloud Sports Hahethi Youth Futsal Challenge’ won by 22 Sports Clubs

22 Sports Clubs has won the ‘Cloud Sports Hahethi Youth Futsal Challenge 2023’ organized by Ha. Hoarafushi Hahethi Club, targeted for under 21 years of youths.
In the final match of the tournament played on Saturday, 22 Sports Club won the match against Ihavandhoo NVK 3-1 after penalties as match ended in 2-2 draw in regular time. Ismail Aish of 22 Sports Club was selected as the player of the final match.
Top five players of the tournament are: Hassan Gaish Mohamed – NVK, Adam Maahil – 22 Sports Club, Mohamed Rishan – 22 Sports Clubs, Ali Naish Ahmed Waheed – NVK, and Ismail Aish – 22 Sports Clubs.
Husham Hassan, the coach of 22 sports clubs, was selected as the best coach of the tournament. Hassan Gaish Mohamed of NVK was selected as the most promising player. Ismail Aish of 22 Sports Clubs was selected as the best goal keeper. Mohamed Rishan of 22 Sports Clubs was selected as the top scorer of the tournament. He scored 10 goals in the tournament. Adam Maahil of 22 Sports Clubs was selected as the best player of the tournament.
A total of five teams participated in this year’s tournament held from December 21 to 23. The teams are FC Uligamu Youth (Ha. Uligamu), NVK (Ha. Ihavandhoo), Club Dolphin, 22 Sports Clubs and RV Sports Academy.
The winning team was awarded with a cash prize of MVR10,000 and the runners-up were awarded with a cash prize of MVR 3,000.
This is the fourth time that the Hahethi Club has organized the tournament.
