RaajjeTV’s journalist Hussain Hassan was harassed by ruling party supporters, as he was covering its protest in capital Malé City on Monday night.
As he was preparing to report from infront of the Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) office, a number of its activists were seen harassing and pestering him, even using vulgar language, and obstructing his work.
They were pushed aside by police officers and some bystanders.
Even during the harassment, Hussain is seen calm and collected and did not respond to any of the accusations being directed at him or his work place. He then continued to report, live, from the scene.

President Abdulla Yameen had taken part in this protest as well, along with senior officials of the party.
This is not the first time a RaajjeTV reporter has been subject to such abuse at a PPM gathering or protest. However, there have been no action taken against those that have conducted such acts.
