A speeding pickup truck has lost control at the Muli harbor and fallen into the sea.
A man who talked to Sun Media from the island said that the incident took place at sundown yesterday and a total of three people were in it.
He said that no one sustained any serious injuries.
“The two people inside the pickup had to be rescued by people on the shore after destroying the door of the truck. They didn’t sustain any major injuries.” The man said.
He said that the truck that fell into the sea belongs to a group that sells oil in the island. But the truck did not have any cargo when it fell into the sea.
The pickup truck was recovered from the sea today around 11:30 a.m. with combined efforts from the Police and the citizens of the island.
