Coastguard of MNDF has begun an operation to inspect all sea vehicles making trips to different regions of Maldives during the Eid Al-Ada holidays.
In the operation which began today morning، Coastguard will check whether the sea vehicles have life jackets، fire extinguishing equipments and Coastguard will also check for other aspects of safety and security.
Since these are the Eid holidays، MNDF has warned all people traveling during this time to plan their trips according to weather forecasts.
While NDF has warned to beware during sea travel، it is to be noted that a number of accidents on sea are happening nowadays.
