Former Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr. Abdul Majeed Abdul Bari has said that It is very important for the government to identify child abuse victims and provide them safety.
Dr. Abdul Majeed stated this in a tweet he posted on his official twitter account.
Makunudhoo member Anara Naeem stated that the violence against children is violence against the whole society and it is not something that can be tolerated.
Anara said that it is very important to find the killer of Ibthihal and bring the killer to justice.
Many are now questioning whether there can be a fair trial on the case of the death of Ibthihal. Up until now the blame is now being put on the focal point of the Gender Ministry at Felidhoo.
