The youth who was reported missing from Male’ City has been found shortly after the police announcement seeking assistance to locate his whereabouts.
Police, in a post X at 14:29, identified the missing youth as 18-year-old Hussain Zihan from H. Blue Scoop.
As per the post, Zihan’s family reported that he was last seen at his residence on Friday.
In a later post at 18:33, Police confirmed that Zihan had been found safe from Male’ City, without delving into any further details.
Notably, in the past six days, two young girls and a 24-year-old were reported missing.
They included a 14-year-old from Male’ City, who was found safe and an eight-year-old from GDh. Fiyoari who was found unconscious inside a vacant house near her home. Tests were conducted on the girl which established she had not been harmed.
Meanwhile, the Police have not announced any updates regarding 24-year-old Ahmed Iyash Waseem who was reported missing from Fuvahmulah City.
