Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) confirms on delivering rock boulder shipment to Haa Dhaal atoll Hanimaadhoo for groynes construction.
Moreover, the project contractor further revealed that they delivered the shipment on 14 September, Tuesday. The groynes structure is one of the components under the harbor development project in the island.
Furthermore, project scope includes dredging of the new harbor’s basin spanning 53,522.50 cubic meters and another 31,575.50 cubic meters of dredging in the harbor’s entrance channel.
Additionally, MTCC will construct a breakwater measuring 355 meters, a revetment measuring 50 meters and a quay wall spanning 270 meters.
Moreover, the contractor will install a paved area along the harbor side measuring 2,583 square meters. MTCC has reported the project total is MVR57.1 million.
