President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has amended and re-enacted a Presidential Decree which establishes the priority projects to be undertaken in the public interest.
Pursuant to this decree, the minimum expenditure threshold for projects aimed at safeguarding the independence and sovereignty of the State has been raised from USD 15 million to USD 100 million.
The schedule annexed to this Decree outlines the projects designated by the Government for implementation under this policy, specifying their respective locations and the minimum financial allocation required for each project.
