A man has been found dead in the Aarikilhi mangrove area of Addu City.
Police said they received a report at 9:33 am on Wednesday that a man was found unconscious in the mangrove area.
He was pronounced dead on arrival at Addu Equatorial Hospital.
The man was discovered in the mangrove area behind Addu High School.
However, authorities have not disclosed his nationality.
Police have launched an investigation into the case.
