Bangladeshi Chief of Army, Staff General Abu Belal Muhammad Shafiul Huq left Maldives on Wednesday after concluding his official visit to the country.
He was seen off at Ibrahim Nasir International Airport by Bangladeshi High Commissioner to Maldives Rear Admiral Kazi Sarwar Hossain, Brigadier General Ali Zuhair and Colonel Vaise Waheed.
Abu Belal met with President Abdulla Yameen, Defense Minister Adam Shareef and Chief of Defense Force Major General Ahmed Shiyam.
The keys to seven vehicles gifted by Bangladeshi government to Maldivian army was also personally handed over by Abu Belal.
